The most magical time of the year is upon us, and what a better place to celebrate than New York City! With this being my first time living in New York during the holiday season, I figured it would be the perfect time to do all the tacky tourist traditions, starting with the Rockette's Christmas Spectacular!

The show was everything I'd hope it would be; full of dancing Santas, legs that go on for days, and lots of Christmas cheer! After the show was over we walked over to the skating rink to see the tree, and it was just as beautiful as in the movie Elf! Since skating was too crowded we decided to take the short walk over to the Saks 5th Ave window and light display, which is every fashionista's Christmas Miracle!

For this festive occasion, I had to put together an outfit just as magical and sparkly. When I came across this gold skirt at Abercrombie & Fitch (Yes! Abercrombie makes cute clothes again!) on black friday I had to have it! Earlier in the year I had seen a skirt like this, but way out of my price range! But with finally a place to wear it and 50% off it was sold the second I saw it! With a skirt so wild, I decided to keep the top simple with a plain black crop top from Forever 21 and short black suede booties. Pulling the spotlight to the skirt, I also wore minimal accessories, just throwing on my Apple watch and a small gold Kate Spade necklace (which is unfortunately sold out! sorry guys!).  I got a ton of Insta love for this outfit, and I can't wait to wear this skirt again! Happy Holidays!
